Chihuy - Tempe Arizona, 2009

After spending a couple of weeks in at our usual spot on the desert in Quartzsite Arizona this year we hopped over to the Phoenix/Mesa area. There is a beautiful county park called Usery Mountain Recreation Area just outside Mesa that we enjoy a lot, but our main reason for coming was to see the exhibit of Chihuly glass at the Desert Botanical Garden in Tempe, on display until May 31 2009. Dale Chihuly is a world-renowned artist that creates wonderful works in glass on a grand scale.
